As you look upon Mt. Hood at the peak of the new park, many sounds arise. The bustle of the construction and nearby roadways, many species of birds chirping and flying about, bicycles zooming and runners feet beating down the path. This park is not yet opened and the world has already discovered its beauty. The Columbia is a grand waterway that moves with ferocity even in its low of summer. As it glitters in the sunshine and reaches to Oregon’s shores, it creates a marvelous view for all to enjoy.
